Nicholas Kristof, often hailed as one of the most important contributors to journalism of our time, joins the Merrin Moral Voices to speak on this year’s theme of immigration. Kristof is the recipient of two Pulitzer Prizes, the first for his reporting on China’s Tiananmen Square democracy movement, the latter awarded for his insightful attention to the genocide in the Darfur region. He embodies Moral Voices’ mission because he gives a voice to the voiceless in other parts of the world, and he does so with an uncompromising conviction. Kristof currently runs a column for the New York Times that dates back to November of 2001, and he is a frequent contributor to CNN. Millions of listeners subscribe and follow his various social media platforms, and it is with great pleasure that we invite him to speak on this topic today.
